Review of Escape from Alcatraz (1979) by Blackity B — 01 Feb 2010
Very good movie, extremely tight in terms of story, which reflects its environment very well. Interesting from beginning to end, especially if you love prison break movie. The only problem is that it doesn't really allow room for anything else - our characters are simply prisoners, there is little to no backstage story given on them. In a weird way, however, this element works very well with the confines of the plot.
Quite incredible that this is was a real story too. B+.
