Review of Escape from Alcatraz (1979) by Serkan S — 11 Nov 2011
Stephen King must have taken "Alcatraz" as a reference point while writing "Shawshank Redemption", there are zillions of similarities, even some carbon copies over there!! In terms of cinematic value, may not be as great as "Shawshank" but it's highly solid and watchable as a prison-break flick.
