Review of Erskineville Kings (1999) by Kelly M — 15 Jul 2008
This came out the same year as another great Aussie film, 'Two Hands.' At the AFI awards, Two Hands (starring Heath Ledger) won best film. But I reckon Erskineville Kings was a worthy nominee for best film, and may have been unlucky not to win.
The cinematography is composed perfectly, and captures the essence of the small town setting.
