What an absolute Cunt of a film this segment was. Completely unerotic, if that is even a word, really quite awful from Antonioni.
Equilibrium: 3.5/5.
A really well made little piece. Not very Erotic at all but I thought it was intelligent, funny, nice little hints from the script were revealed throughout, and overall it gets me excited to start going through Soderbergh's film career.
The Hand: 4/5.
Ive said it before, and I will say it again, Wong Kar Wai is much better suited to short films. His work screams Short film. And what a fine piece this is. That's how you show Eroticism, Antonioni take a clue from this, No nudity, Not even any shots to cover Gong Li's beauty, and yet it is one of the most sexual things I have ever seen. Really quite brilliant.
