Review of Ernest Scared Stupid (1991) by Keldon M — 10 Mar 2015

I was 11 when this came out and a huge Ernest fan. I was in the key demographic, after all. Seeing this in theaters--there as NO WAY I'd miss any Ernest film--however, was like an awaking moment in my childhood that I was growing up: I could see how movies like these were losing their magic as I was becoming old enough to recognize shit when I saw it.

I'm still a fan of his live action Saturday morning TV show, but his later movies got sad.
