Review of Ernest & Celestine (2012) by Hayden H — 11 Nov 2014
A story about true Friendship is truly strong no matter how different u are from each other is told with such care and imagination you will be left touched and deeply satisfied. Forest Whitaker and Mackenzie Foy are perfect as Ernest and Celestine and really get behind their characters as does the rest of the cast. The animation was a sight to be told as I found it beautiful to look and genius when they left some areas out like if we were seeing the heartwarming book come alive. The story may not be much annd the ending might lose some people but at the end, all in all, in the back of your mind you can't wait to see if there be a sequel around the corner. Also the lesson of prejudicial judgment was a very nice added touch and glad that it's aiming at children too for this is a lesson EVERYONE should learn from Ernest & Celestine. Bear, mouse, or whatever... Its the inside that speaks clearer and attractively like the beautiful art from Celestine and music from Ernest.
"A-" Is my final grade which if longer or fuller in story I'd rate it "A+" which is rare for me because I only have two handfuls of those.
