Review of Ernest & Celestine (2012) by George B — 08 Apr 2015
Inheirarted the of tradition of the hand drawn French animations such the great "Triplettes of Belleville" and "The Illusionist", "Ernest and Celestine" not only achieves the simplicity of what an animation was made of, it also interpreted the idea of coexistence very well.
Reminds me of the great Japanese masterpiece "Go! Panda" series from the directors of "Grave of the Fireflies" and "Sporited Away" from the early 70's.
