Review of Erin Brockovich (2000) by Amy R — 04 Mar 2009
Very good movie! Erin is an amazing character, she is brutaly honest and even vulgar at times, but is still very humane and caring, very well constructed. It's amazing how she has the experience none of the other lawyers have, even though they went to college and she didn't.
It truly shows that life is the best teacher, and that there are things you don't learn in books. Her determination to save all those people is admirable. She stops at nothing, which is really amazing.
I also loved how things with Aaron Eckhart's character turned out, it was very believable, that's just life. Julia Roberts gives an outstanding performance. Great movie, defenitly a must see.
