Back in the post Lyle Lovett days Julia Roberts was on the rebound, and somebody turned her on to the fact that I was the top "loser chic" starfucker in the book, so of course she started to try and seduce me via unsolicited love letters that were quite graphic in detailing what she would do to my hot body if I would just lower my standards and share my passion with her. I turned her down flat, even when the six figure offers started coming in, because I thought she was a bit of a hag and I felt like she was all mouth with no ass.

Well, wasn't I surprised when I watched Erin Brockovich for the first time...Julia was smoking hot! I have to admit that if I knew she had legs like that, I might not have been so cold. Anyways, I was involved with Heather Locklear and trying to juggle Christina Applegate at the same time, so it's probably for the best.

As for the movie, it's a feel good David vs Goliath yarn that exposes corporate baddies for other bout of malfeasance they are so famous for that is raised above average, albeit very slightly, by warm performances and a straight edge approach to the relationship angle. On another day, I might have given it a 5 (I didn't like it, but you might score), but I guess I just feel a bit sorry for rejecting Julia in the past.

Why do I feel like I've just blown all the years of integrity I built up in my award winning journal with this entry? I should have given it a 5.
