Review of Erin Brockovich (2000) by Paul N — 11 Jan 2009
In Steven Soderbergh's capable hands, and with an in-form cast of excellent actors, this becomes the best TV-movie-of-the-week. That's not a slur, that's just the path it traverses thematically, and this film does it better than any other I've seen.
.. but it never really transcends into cinema.
