Julia Roberts deserved the oscar for this movie. She plays an out of work single mother who single-handedly wins a one in a million lawsuit against a power company that is killing people by leaking it's toxic waste into the ground water of a town.

Best of all, it's actually a true story. She's convincing and powerful in her performance and very inspiring to women everywhere!
