I've always thought Julia Roberts can act so that was no surprise. People give her a bad rap because she is so pretty and happy all the time. But it really shouldn't be a surprise that pretty happy people with big teeth can act too.
As far as the movie, it was good but wasn't as triumphant as it could have been. It kinda just fizzles out by the end.
