Review of Erin Brockovich (2000) by Alex H — 26 Jan 2010
Erin Brockovich is a film with a huge number of flaws, but these flaws are covered up with the powerful nature of the main storyline and Julia Roberts' performance as the lead character. I'd have liked the film to be a bit longer and explored her relationship with her kids and Aaron Eckhart's character a bit more.
I liked the way the problems in these relationships came about and the way they were presented but the resolutions to both seemed a little bit superficial and cheap. Still its a very entertaining and moving film that deserves a viewing or two.
