Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Lee B — 11 Jan 2011
This is without doubt the most fucked up film I have ever seen, and am ever likely to see. David Lynch's vision is executed perfectly in the minimal 80 minutes duration through terrifying lighting and outstanding special effects.
Jack Nance does a great job as the protagonist. The little dialogue adds to Eraserhead's power and significance. This is an antagonizing look at how art can be portrayed in film. Amazing doesn't even start to explain it.
