Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Moore S — 23 Feb 2010
Probably the most troubling movie I have ever seen. I thought I've watched it when I was younger, but apparently I mixed it up with something else. David Lynch's first full-length film, which definitely has become his signature.
For the first 10 minutes of the movie there is no speech at all, the movie is shot in black and white, each scene and the dialogue are supported by extended pauses and background noise. There could be several ways to interpret some things shown in the movie, that's what makes it so special.
. well just like any other David Lynch's film.
