Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Matt B — 12 Jul 2012
This deeply entrancing, strangely amusing, offbeat, disturbing film takes an unconventional approach to telling the story of one's man fear of parenthood.
Lynch's impenetrable, often indescribable soundscapes effectively convey the moodiness, anxiety and coyness inhibited by the characters.
One of the few films I have ever seen in which I could not take my eyes off the screen, it will linger in your mind for days afterward!
