Review of Eraser (1996) by Ian R — 27 Jun 2009
This show is solid action, solid Schwarzenegger! It just meets all my action needs. It has a nice solid body count of around 50 and explosions occur in under 5 minutes. Plus, it has a decent action story.
I think when you throw a decent story into some well placed action sequences, you got a great show. Arnold does a solid job in his character, as the character is pretty much modelled to an action-man of his stature.
Vanessa Williams did a great job, and I must credit the character for, despite being in terribly extreme circumstances, following the rules and not panicing and causing more problems. Great stuff. James Caan was a great pick for his role.
I really enjoyed his involvement in the film. Great score in this movie. The music really sticks out to me when I watch it. It adds a certain intangible element that improves the movie. It makes it seem more.
..just more! Overall, a great action flick and definitely a benchmark of action movies.
