Review of Eraser (1996) by Bryan P — 10 Dec 2011
[D+/45] An almost surreal combination of James Bond video game thrills and ludicrously stupid action sequences combined with a deja-vu plot and out-of-gas pacing. Sure, Arnie's back, mugging and spewing groan-worthy taglines between bullets and frothing crocodiles and flaming airliners and 'splosions, but he's never been a more convincing sleepwalker.
Plenty of action-packed ham. Duller than usual, and awesomely forgettable, with the possible exception of James Caan's villain, who is by far the best factor in the mix.
