Review of Eragon (2006) by Martin G — 01 Jan 2012

I remember thinking that this movie was a mix of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Braveheart. The critics mention the first two, but, In the beginning I remember thinking, 'I'm your uncle, Argyle'.

If you get over the cliches and close following of other movies, it is still a fun movie. I did regret that there were no following movies to complete it... then again, I did feel that the ending of this movie seemed to need a second half.

.. I felt cheated that I paid full price for a ticket in and only got half of a movie. People who enjoy the genre and the presentation of dragons via cg may find a reason to see it.
