Review of Eragon (2006) by Kristy P — 07 Jan 2013

Although the story and it's characters are one-dimensional and unoriginal as ever, and it feels as if it's trying be the next big franchise, as opposed to being the next great story, Eragon's amazing visuals potentially make up for what it greatly lacks in character, story and emotional resonance.

If this film is to be remade ever in the future, a lot of "tweeking" and deviations from the source material most definitely should be made in order for it to work successfully. 1/5 stars.
