The Inheritence Cycle is my favorite series of books; however, the movie adaptation of the first book, Eragon, went terribly wrong. They butchered the plot so much that they didn't ever have the option of making the sequel (Eldest) and the dialogue they added in was mostly cheesey.
However, I will admit one thing: they got the right actors for the parts. The butchered storyline and the cringe-worthy dialogue though... they make this film unbearable.
