Review of Eragon (2006) by Richard H — 13 Nov 2011
The series is hardly original but the imagination and love of fantasy is there from the author. Paolini has a vision for set pieces and action but his greatest strength is writing the central relationship between Rider and Dragon.
This film lacks all these things and fails as another Hollywood attempt to exploit a trend of the time without taking the time to ensure the film was actually good.
