I must say that Christopher Paolini is an excellent writer and shouldn't be criticized but I must say that the movie did not live up the greatness of the book. There was so much potential for the movie to be amazing, but it ended up being rushed.
Which left out many key points to the story causing fans to hate the movie, and through that a sequel was never made.
