Equity has a slick production value, good performances and on paper an interesting story. The end product however is pretty boring. Don't expect wolf on Wall Street, Wall Street, or even the Wall Street sequel.
It's a very talky movie where the characters all dress up and have drinks. With a more experienced director and possibly bigger budget this may have been a good Wall Street movie instead of a movie that puts you to sleep.
