Review of Equilibrium (2002) by Stuart G — 15 Nov 2011
This almost seems to be a sequel to Fahrenheit 451, or possibly a different take on the story.
This movie is like The Boondock Saints in that the critics hated it, but the fans ate it up. That happens once in a while I guess...
I really like the cinematography and story of this movie, even though it barrows from other pieces. Bale did a great job showing no emotion - which is hard because if you show too little emotion, the actor looks disinterested. The action sequences are great, too.
If you liked The Matrix and V for Vendetta, you should like this one.
