Review of Equilibrium (2002) by A. R — 12 May 2013

With a low budget you can only expect so much from a film such as this. A definite call-back to true dystopian science fiction, Equilibrium brings a warmth to my heart and a definite sense of joy that no amount of Prozia II could subdue.

With the expectation of seeing what I was expecting to be a sub-par execution of a brilliant idea due to the sheer size of the budget, I was pleasantly surprised to find how well the budget was utilized in this film.

Truly one the my favorite films, and far from deserving the 37% the "professional" critics give it.
