Review of Equals (2015) by Mathilda S — 25 Nov 2016
For those who are looking forward to bash Kristen Stewart and her acting, well you definitely have come to the right place or movie. irregardless of what most people felt about this movie, I must say, this is the kind of movie that actually explored human feelings and what if we are void and incapable of feeling.
in this world, feelings is a disease. the depth and the build-up of this movie is there, I don't know what the rest of you are looking for - some shooting maybe, shouting perhaps. but understand this, violence and showing emotions are not allowed in this world, hence they had an AA group for those who are "suffering" from emotions.
As boring or as predictable as this movie may be to most of you, if you listened to the script closely, you'll understand what this movie is actually about... it's too bad that most watch this movie expecting it to be like the rest of the films rated and well accepted by most audience.
this, definitely is an art but of course, not everyone can see it the way it is.
