Review of Equals (2015) by Adri P — 15 May 2017
I've gotten degrees in both English and Shakespearean literature and here are two things I know: 1) Everyone's grammar is atrocious. 2) There are no new stories to be told.
1) In relation to grammar I like to think of people who correct other people's grammar as the worst offenders. Like I said, EVERYONE'S grammar is terrible, so much so that it's the norm. If someone corrects another's grammar it's simply because they don't know enough to recognize their own errors. Language is adaptive, errors become rules, rules that will be broken, etc..
OBJECTION YOUR HONOR! Relevance?
2) People who comment on how predictable and rehashed this plot have not done enough reading.
