What kind of pretentious film calls itself "Epic"? This one. While visually impressive, the story is crap. No time or effort is given to developing the plot or the characters. And, the actors don't put much effort into their performances; some (like Beyonce) are out right terrible.
A shallow and derivative film, Epic is anything but.
