Review of Epic (2013) by Sara D — 27 Mar 2014
Don't be deceived by the protagonists' small stature, this movie really does feel epic. In an incredibly well-conceived mini world, good guys ("leafmen") and bad ("boggins") battle it out across beautiful land, air and seascapes over nothing short of the fate of their world. What I like most is that the character arcs are not lost in the scale of the conflict, and up to the very end I was wondering what choices.
They'd make.
