Another animated romantic kids movie. There are family movies and then there are kids movies. This is a kids movie. I can think of three family movies right of the bat, Toy Story 3, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Up.

This movie is the kind of movie kids will love and parents will be checking their watches multiple times in the movie theatre. Beyond that the movie is predictable as hell and of course the love interest is a very handsome, animated, white kid as the love interest and he falls in love with the quirky, nerdy, attractive, white girl main character.

This movie just lost me after the only black character died. Screw kids movies.
