Review of Entrapment (1999) by Max E — 20 Jun 2012
This slightly underrated movie is another decent distraction if bored one afternoon. It glosses over a lot of logical points by almost calling their feats magic, there is very little action or violence for a crime film, and the characters are rather difficult to relate to. I found that I didn't particularly care for either of them, as neither showed much in terms of commendable values. The screen chemistry is convincing enough though, and CZJ is in good shape and form.
An OK B-movie that seems to rely a bit too much on CZJ in tight trousers and Sean Connery's accent, as well as his apparent lack of variety of emotion on screen. Difficult to accurately identify what's missing to make this great.
