Review of Enter the Dragon (1973) by Carl H — 08 Mar 2012
Bruce Lee is one of my childhood heroes, I love his style of acting and he is a gifted martial artist. Enter the Dragon is his best film by far; it is well written, it has the best fight scenes ever committed to screen and great acting from all the cast.
In the film Bruce Lee plays a martial arts expert whose sister is murdered by drug dealers and he enters a kung fu competition held by the man responsible, to get revenge. Bruce goes to his island, which is heavily fortified and with an army of martial artist.
He has to fight his way to top in a simple, but brilliant story of revenge. This is very influential and intense film, there are a lot of kick ass moments, but sadly this would be the last film Bruce Lee would star in and his legacy lives on though his movies.
