Review of Enter the Dragon (1973) by Matt M — 04 Feb 2013
A martial artist agrees to sp on a reclusive ganglord by accepting his invitation to a martial arts tournament. Enter the Dragon balances well the filmmaking styles of both the countries where the film was produced; the US and Hong Kong.
It is also for this reason that perhaps this is one of the most accessible martial arts epics even to this day. But a lot of the credit for this film's reputation goes to Bruce Lee, who hit a high point in his career and worldwide fame with this film, which made his premature death seem more unjust to the eyes of the public that had just discovered his talent and charisma.
