Review of Enter the Dragon (1973) by X X — 28 Jul 2013
Poor dubbing is an inelegant solution to language barrier issues. It cheapens what are already very basic performances, given by actors who are more placeholders than characters. But identities and motivations are only obligatory garnish in a genre based on physical conflicts between players, and the film is occasionally satisfying where these are concerned.
Some of the fight sequences blur together with too little emotion or variety, but the film achieves moments of buoyancy when Bruce Lee lets fly.
