Review of Enter the Dragon (1973) by Dan D — 20 Oct 2011
RIP Bruce Lee.
In 'Enter The Dragon' Bruce Lee gives a whole new meaning to the word "Ass Kicking" Actually...He Re-Invents it.
This film had me cultivated through out with it's fight scenes. I was just so in groused with the way the action scenes where done that I couldn't stop watching. The fight scenes are HANDS DONE some of the BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN(and this was all before CG was ever even thought of) I loved the fight scene with Bruce Lee and O'Har Lee just KICKED HIS ASS. it was awesome def. one of the high lights of the film. Now..even though MOST(If Not ALL) of the film was fight scenes they where so tastefully done that...well..It didn't matter how many there where. Also TONS,If Not All,of them where classic. Possibly the most famous one is the one where Lee has to fight Han in a room full of mirrors. It is awesome to watch Bruce Lee start Kicking and breaking all of the glass in there and then finally finding his enemy and finishing him off with one death blow *WOAH*.
As I said Bruce Lee Gives a whole new meaning to ass-kicking. All of the fight scenes he did where 1.Done by him. and 2. Created by him so it looked even MORE cooler seeing him do these kick ass moves and knowing it was him kicking major ass.
I think there where only really two lows I found in this film. 1. As I said Bruce Lees kicks some MAJOR ASS but..well..his Screams when he does the kicks and etc.,while cool at first, get really annoying really fast but it doesn't ruin the film by any stretch. Another.."Low" if you wanna call it is the English dubbing it works okay with Lee but when it's a white guy,not to sound racist here, it looks oddly..miss done IDK maybe it's just me.
Did any of this ruin the film for me? no. Would I recommend it to people? FUCK YEAH. Is it Bruce Lees Finest hour? Easily.
