Review of Enter the Dragon (1973) by Tero H — 18 Oct 2012
+ Its a well directed, colorful and well acted movie.
- There is too little of Bruce Lee's fighting in this film for my liking - only three scenes.
+ of course, those three fighting scenes are quite long, so that partly remedies the situation.
- The movie is a bit superficial and has only a little humour, unlike the more humorous 'Way of the Dragon'.
+ The fight scenes demonstrate Lee's incredible nunchaku-skills, rarely seen in martial arts movies.
+ The fights, the atmosphere, the music and Lee himself are classic.
Unfortunately, three fights with Lee and a few more rough and tumble by others doesn't make this the best martial arts movie I've seen. In the end I think that Way of the Dragon is better. The remastered movie is much better than the original VHS version that I've seen.
