Review of Enter the Dragon (1973) by Lloyd H — 27 Jan 2013
This is arguably the best kung fu movie of all time and nearly 40 years on it still lives up as a great action and martial arts movie. I love Bruce Lee and can watch his films again and again. All his films lack much of a plot, depth or direction, but they're individual pieces of art that are visually stunning and exciting to watch.
John Saxon, Jim Kelly, Bolo Yeung, Robert Wall and Shih Kien all good in supporting roles and contribute lots of different fight scenes between them. Some of the sequences in this film as so memorable and iconic for example the nunchaku scene and mirror room scene at the end of the film.
The memorable line "Boards don't hit back" is brilliant. The fight scenes are choreographed brilliantly by Bruce Lee and are thoroughly enjoyable. This film stands the test of time and will be considered as one of if not thee best kung fu film ever.
