My Review.

I honestly thought that this was an independent film, but I guess I was wrong. I thought that this film wouldn't come to a theater near me for about two weeks. If it's in a theater near you and you haven't seen it I recommend you do. I wonder if i'm still the only one who thinks Julia Dreyfus looks like sally Field.

Enough Said is about a divorced single parent named Eva played by Julia Dreyfus who spends her days enjoying her work as a masseuse but is dreading her daughter's impending departure for college. One night at a party she meets Albert played by James Gandolifini a sweet,funny, and like-minded man who is also facing an empty nest.During there time together Eva has a client named Marianne played by Catherine Keener who is a poet and rags on her ex-husband way to much and it turns out it's Albert.

Any kind of film has the potential of being a good one or a bad one. But in a time where everyone won't shut up about big huge summer blockbusters or gory and terrifying horror films it's nice to see films like Enough Said being made.

Unfortunately while this film was being made or around the time James Gandolfini died of a cardiac arrest,he was fifty two when he died.But his last outing was one of his best performances and I'm pretty sure to those who watch his show on HBO that he will be missed.

Julia Dreyfus, Catherene Keener and Toni Collette are three other shining stars in this film. Toni Collette plays Sarah who keeps warning Eva that things will go bad if she listens to Marianne. Catherene Keenner plays Marianne a poet who is the one raging on her Ex Albert.

I have seen Toni Collette earlier this year in a film called The Way,Way Back and I hope she keeps going with the good film streak she's got going on, she might become one of my favorite actresses.

I did not feel anything while watching Enough said but the humor and charm is what makes this film so great. I am glad I finally noticed it was in a theater near me sooner then I expected. It has two great actors with great chemistry and there was an article in entertainment weekly where Julia Dreyfus said to her interviewer "It was like a perfect blind date." Kind of like how this movie was like a perfect date movie. I give Enough Said a five out of five.
