Review of Enough Said (2013) by Nino N — 09 Nov 2013

I am a big Seinfeld fan so I have avoided watching anything with Julia Dreyfus that was not Seinfeld. I wanted to remember her forever as Elaine. I am glad I changed my mind and watched Enough Said. Great movie, certainly one of the best movies I have seen this year.

I was particularly pleased with the acting. Every single actor in that movie delivered. Romantic comedy often have unnatural plots to instill some more drama and try to deviate from the trivial path of "first date-romantic involvement-sex-dramatic turn-happy ending".

This movie did not try to use unnatural twists in the plot, it did not need to. It felt real, like something that has happened to all of us. I guess everybody from the writer to director to the cast deserve credit for a great product.

And of course, great job, Elaine!
