Review of Enough Said (2013) by Patrick K — 07 Jan 2014
Good little romantic comedy thats light in the romance so its open to everyone including those who cringe at movies with overbearing romance. The comedy isnt forced it flowed well between the personalities of the characters and performers.
This happens to be the last leading/supporting role for James Gandolfini who passed away and judging by this and most recent performances he will be a loss to the industry. Julia Louis-Dreyfus was brilliant as the divorced mum who dates Gandolfinis character and they both play off each other really well and things get tricky for Eva (Dreyfus) when she realises her new friend Marianne (Catherine Keener) is the ex wife of Albert (Gandolfini) who she is dating.
The director dealt with the main issues really well and not shying away and with a 93 min runtime it flowed perfectly.
