Review of Enough Said (2013) by Richard Z — 11 Jan 2014
I really liked this movie. Julia Louis-Dreyfus was very believable as a divorcee slipping into middle age and trying to find love again. James Gandolfini was a very real divorced Dad, set in his ways but also looking for love. His previous relationship failed for the reason that relationships fail--neither person could accept the other's faults.
If you are in a serious relationship, or married, or divorced, you would probably like this movie because it effectively raises many of the issues we face when faced with sharing our life with another.
Note: Catherine Keener played the ex-wife of James Gandolfini's character, and does a fantastic job portraying a not-very-likable famous poet. I'm a fan of Keener--she's not your typical Hollywood actress. If you like her work, that would be a reason to see this movie...
