Review of Enough Said (2013) by Brian L — 11 Jan 2014
It's rare to watch a romantic comedy and hope that the couple does not get back together at the end, but this was surely such a movie. Dreyfus's character so outrageously abuses her friends and family by her selfishness that she does not deserve redemption.
Gandolfini plays the same teddy bear, nice guy that he played on the Sopranos, without the benefit of his dark side to make him interesting. The plot was not believable. Eva's rationale for not revealing her connection with Albert's ex-wife doesn't hold water and produces a weak denouement.
