I LOVE this movie. Albert ( James Gandolfini ) eerily reminds me of someone I once knew. He & Eva are a perfect match. In the moments she let what his ex-wife said about him, get to her, & she criticized him in front of her friends.
...I could feel how he felt in those moments. BUT when they went on their first date, I felt like I was part of it. I felt happy that they were happy. It made me really wish that I could go to a restaurant with someone who really enjoys what they're eating & has such a fun conversation like that.
It's a film that just made you want the simplest things. I find it so devastating that James Gandolfini isn't here anymore. Such a great actor. Definitely one to own. It makes you feel everything everyone in the movie feels.
It's wonderful & uncomfortable & heartbreaking & funny. It's everything.
