If you're not familiar, this an independent "romantic comedy" of sorts starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and James Gandolfini . It's a sweet and touching film, made all the more poignant because of Gandolfini's untimely death last year, knowing we'll never get to see him in anything again.

It pains me to call this movie a romantic comedy... though there are definitely romantic and comedic elements to it, it doesn't feel like a rom-com at all. It's just a charming story that happens to be about relationships (not just the romantic kind) and is also a little funny.

All the performances are excellent, but I particularly enjoyed Julia Louis-Dreyfus in this role, it was fun to see her play a different kind of character. The story is very well written with a large dose of realism, and both the tone and pacing are perfect.

It definitely has an indie-flick feel, but is not at all pretentious or scattered the way that many indies are. This one is focused and knows what it's about, and doesn't muck around getting there.

I was reminded of "The Kids Are All Right" (which I absolutely LOVED), so if you liked that movie, you'll probably like this one too.
