Review of Enemy of the State (1998) by Russell G — 07 Jan 2012

This is movie about conspiracies, government surveillance, cover-ups, murder, corporate greed and political manipulation; it is action packed and I loved it. Will Smith, Gene Hackman are excellent and Jon Voight was good too.

This movie shows that Will Smith can be a pure action star and can do more than provide comic relief in action-comedies like âIndependence Dayâ?, âBad Boysâ?, or âMen In Blackâ?. The plot works well, with good depth and good characters.

Overall it is well put together, original, very exciting, and highly entertaining. It is one of my favorite action movies of all time.
