Review of Enemy of the State (1998) by Brian K — 25 Jul 2012
6/22/02 - Enemy of the State was pretty similar to the last two movies I watched: espionage, chases, and big brother privacy issues. It was more limited in scope than Minority Report, but the privacy issues were much more fleshed out and pretty concerning albeit a little over-exaggerated and unrealistic at times.
I didn't realize how many well-known actors were in the cast. The whole turnabout at the end was kind of hard to swallow. All in all, it was an entertaining movie, but probably doesn't have a ton of replay value though.
The director also did Spy Game, and this movie has the same frenetic kind of style.
