I cannot help but wonder how technically superior this 1998 film really is, all those things of spying seems ultra-realistic. Enemy of the state is boosted by a fast paced script and direction from Tony Scott, fast edits, and good pairing between Will Smith and Gene Hackman which all leads into a surprising ending.
