Review of Enemy Mine (1985) by Chris H — 28 Apr 2011
Very good I thought. Only makes a few wrong footfalls along the way. The settings and make-up effects are great. Gossett is superbly believable as the alien. The idea is one worth exploring - what if one being from two warring civilisations were stranded on a planet and were forced to depend on each other to survive.
The baby thing was a bit silly and it had it's cheesy moments, but the message is good, it's rather funny at times and it's an enjoyable SF venture.
