A underrated 80's sci-fil gem that is well-written, directed and pretty good special effects. Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett, Jr. both give great performances. What, to me, makes this film work is the politcal subtext that makes it still relevant today.
A must see for sci-fi fans!
